James Quah

I am basically into Dance photography, occasionally into other styles like Light Painting, Landscapes, Nature and a bit of Travel. I started photography in 2005, occasionally attended photography workshops. Besides photography, I make light tools for light painting.

As a dancer and now a dance photographer, I love to expose the dancer's emotions, expressions, motions & movements with various kinds of lightings or with minimum lighting. Watching the entire dance through the viewfinder, anticipating well, and you will get your shot. Read about the performer or performers, and you can determine how you want your pictures to be captured. Freeze them or let it go free for 1 second...
