Sentui
Sentul, just 3 kilometres away from Kuala Lumpur was a major industrial hub for Malaysia during the colonial days. Today, Sentul faces a problem that is affecting many places in Malaysia - rapid urban development. More and more spaces are taken up by property developers as the weeks go by.
Despite the radical change of the landscape that has been happening over the years, this ongoing project is an observation on what is being left behind that is still relevant instead of a commentary on urbanisation. Change is inevitable in the process of improvement, from a personal point of view, I am no doubt saddened as the landscape of my home changes every now and then, but it serves as a solid reminder that it is crucial to appreciate the present.
